Are you making healthy choices in your daily life?

Healthy Living Guide

I have created a healthy living guide for your benefit. It is my first free download.

It’s yours…for free! All you have to do is provide your first name and email address on the landing form and I’ll send you the 10-page PDF document.

This is the first of many releases of content that I will be providing to you over the next six months in combination with publishing my book this September.

Why a Healthy Living Guide?

I want to provide you with a great guide that provides you with information to make healthier choices in your life.

Five different areas of healthy living are included: regular physical activity, balanced and nutritious diet, adequate sleep, stress management and avoiding harmful substances.

I did a lot of research on the Canadian standards on these categories.

Most of the Canadian guidelines can be applied across the world, but be sure to check your government’s guidelines if you have any questions.

Why should you download my free guideline?

First off, did I mention it’s free. What do you have to lose?

I hope that the guidelines are a good overview for you of what a healthier life might look like.

You can easily compare your life to the guidelines.

I even included a self assessment. This will give you a great idea of the areas of your life that might require more attention.

What did my self assessment say?

Too much. Sadly, because I was sick for April and May, I got into some bad habits that I need to undo.

  1. I need to up my daily activity. I have started my morning walks again. That will help.
  2. I need more sleep. My sleeping patterns have been completely off since I got sick. I need to get back into good sleeping habits and great pre-bed rituals.
  3. I need to manage my stress better. Time to get back to a good meditation and deep breathing habit.

I posted the following this week on social media:

But before I get into that I’m taking my own advice.

I’m just not getting enough rest since I got sick in April.

🕗 My schedule has been off.

⏰ My bedtime and wake time have been erratic.

🪫 I haven’t stuck to my bedtime rituals.

🥱 I’m waking up in the middle of the night – wide awake.

📱 I am watching YouTube in bed just before bed.

   🗒️ I haven’t been meditating or journaling.

🏒 I have been watching my Edmonton Oilers play late night games in the NHL Hockey Playoffs. Thank goodness the finals are earlier start times!

🚶🏻‍♂️ I have not been walking in the morning because I haven’t felt good enough.

But that all changes this week. I need to be accountable to myself. I need to make an effort to get better rest.

😴 It’s a rest week for me. I am tired and need to catch up on some quality rest.

What’s next?

I’ve got more content coming out over the next six months. This free healthy guide is just one small step in a ladder of new content coming your way.

I’m thinking about releasing a journaling course later this year.

I’m also looking into building a community of support using Discord and/or monthly online meetups.

And don’t forget to sign  up my my VIP Book Waitlist Club. My first exclusive sneak peak at my process will be sent out this week. You don’t want to miss it! I’ll only be sending out two communications a month to this VIP Club.

Wrap Up

Wrap up…who needs a wrap up?!?

Just kidding!

There is a lot of exciting stuff going on for me. And I’m thrilled to share it with you.

You might be worried about how many emails that you might receive.

I’m only sending out 2 emails a week, one with my weekly blog and one on Fridays with my weekly postcard and wrap up. That’s it! Two emails a week that could change your life.
